You can choose a single month once per year to skip a payment without losing your cover. You can also get back five months’ worth of premiums every five years, even if you claim.
Education Benefit
The Education Benefit can be taken out with the Standard Funeral Plan to assist with the costs of education for the policy holder’s children in the event of the policy holder’s death. This benefit* works as follows:
You can choose any month once a year to skip a payment, without losing your cover.
Pay back five months’ worth of premiums every five years.
You receive a survival benefit of 10% of premiums when the child turns 18 years and the principal life insured is still alive.
On death, an Additional Expense Benefit of 10% of the Education Benefit, for the particular year, will be paid annually to assist with items such as school uniforms, stationery, and textbooks.

Extended Family Funeral Plan
The Extended Family Funeral Plan covers the costs of a funeral for your extended family member/s, to relieve you from the financial burden when you are grieving.
Benefits
This is full life cover for four extended family members from as little as R37 a month. The minimum cover is R5 000 and the maximum is R40 000. The claims pay-out is made to you within 48 hours upon Liberty receiving all the necessary documentation.
